Find Your Size, First Try

Every style is tested against standard industry sizing, so most people order their usual shoe size. Measure your foot once, match it to the Length (cm) column, then use the US, UK and EU columns to cross-check. Everything below is in centimetres unless a column says otherwise.

Fit tip: Size by your foot length, not by the size you wear in another brand. If your measurement lands exactly between two rows, take the larger size — the toe box is built to be accommodating, so a little extra length reads as comfort rather than slop. If you normally shop men’s sizes, drop to the US Men column to find the equivalent.

Fit tip: The same physical shoe is stamped with two numbers — a men’s size and the women’s size it matches. Buy the column that describes you and ignore the other one. Wider feet sit between sizes: because the forefoot is cut generously, stay at your measured size and switch to a wide fitting instead of sizing up.

Big Kids’ — 3.5Y to 7Y

6.5Y 5.5 39 24.5 9 9/16
7Y 6 40 25 9 11/16

Fit tip: Once a child reaches 7Y they usually move straight into the adult chart — a big kid 7Y and an adult 7 are the same length. Measure with the child standing, in the socks they will actually wear, and leave about a thumb’s width (roughly 1 cm) of room at the toe. Kids’ feet grow fast: if the measurement is sitting on the top edge of a row, take the next size up.

Fit tip: Buy toddler sizes by the measured foot, never by the age on the label — the spread at this age is enormous. Trace the foot on paper, standing, and measure heel to the longest toe; that number feeds straight into the cm column. Room to grow matters more than a snug fit here, so round up rather than down.

Wide & Extra Wide — Forefoot Width

Measured across the widest part of the forefoot centimetres

Wide (2E) A good starting point if you normally need a wide fitting. Same length as standard, roomier across the ball of the foot.
Extra Wide (4E) The most generous fit, with maximum volume and width in the forefoot. Best for very high arches or a very high instep.

6 10.1 10.4

14.5 11.9 12.2
15 12.0 12.3
15.5 12.1 12.4
16 12.2 12.5

Fit tip: Width is a separate decision from length — get the length right first, then adjust width. If you sit between standard and wide and still feel pressure, try Wide (2E) in your normal size rather than sizing up in a standard width. Standard widths are already cut generously across the forefoot, so many people who expect to need a wide find the standard fit is enough. Thin socks will also take up a little of the volume if a fit feels close but not tight.

How to Measure Your Foot at Home

  1. 1. Measure late in the day Feet swell as you stand and walk. Measuring in the evening gives you the largest, most honest number.
  2. 2. Stand on paper, heel to a wall Put a sheet of paper against a wall, stand on it with your heel just touching the wall, and shift your weight onto that foot. If someone can help you draw the outline, even better.
  3. 3. Mark the longest toe Mark where the longest toe ends — that is not always the big toe. Measure from the edge of the paper (the wall line) to that mark, in centimetres.
  4. 4. Do both feet and use the larger one Almost nobody has two identical feet. Size to the longer foot, not the average.
  5. 5. Match the number to the Length (cm) column Read straight across to the US, UK and EU columns for that foot length. If you land between two rows, take the larger size.
  6. 6. Check the width too Wrap a tape around the widest part of the forefoot — across the ball of the foot, under the arch. Compare it to the Wides tab if a standard width has ever felt tight on you.

Fit Notes Before You Order

  • Sizing runs true to standard. Choose the size you wear in a normal athletic shoe; there is no need to size up or down for the entry design.
  • Between two sizes or widths? Round up. Slightly more length reads as comfort; slightly less reads as pressure on the toes.
  • Measure your foot, not your old shoe. A worn-in shoe has stretched and moulded — its length is no longer your foot length.
  • Every adult row carries two US numbers. One shoe, one men’s stamp and one women’s stamp. Follow the column that matches how you normally shop.
  • Wide (2E) and Extra Wide (4E) change width, not length. Order the same size number you measured and switch the width only.
  • High arches, high insteps and bunions generally do best in Wide (2E) or Extra Wide (4E), even if a standard width has fitted before.
  • Sock thickness changes the fit. Thick wool socks can take up half a size of volume; try thin socks if a pair feels snug but not short.
  • Kids: measure every 2–3 months. At toddler and little-kid ages a foot can move a full size in a season, and a shoe that is too short will not be worn long enough to be worth it.
  • Feet are not symmetrical. Size to the larger foot and let the smaller one ride a touch roomy.
  • First wear: the upper softens over the first few days. Judge the length immediately, the width after a week.

Sizes and conversions above follow the manufacturer’s published charts and are shown in centimetres unless a column states inches. Lengths are foot measurements, not insole or outsole dimensions, and can shift slightly between styles, materials and seasons. Where a product page publishes its own measurements, that page takes priority over this guide. If you are still unsure, contact customer support before ordering — getting the size right the first time is better than a return.
